Media release: 17th March 2016,
Since 2011, at Reed Manch, we have been trying to connect warehousing and supply chain industry by our events. I have heard a lot of case studies where several industry players launched their companies or new product range and are now leading the market. In last six years, I have also seen a lot of JVs and mergers happening on our show floor and it gives us some sense of achievement in our quest to transform this niche sector in the entire value chain of logistics.
This October, we bring to you another niche and focused event, India Warehousing & Logistics Show (IWLS) in Mumbai after successful past editions in Ahmedabad, Pune and Chennai. It is the regional version of our flagship event, India Warehousing Show taking place every year in Delhi. The USP of IWLS is the focused buyer segment from western and southern region by in-depth penetration of industrial hubs spread across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
With IWLS, we bring a whole new lot of buyers, investors and service providers who otherwise do not visit other exhibitions. The companies who have been participating with us in previous editions of IWLS would agree with the fact that IWLS connected them with new markets and new customers. There is another silver lining in this year’s edition at Mumbai of being co-located with our very successful, India Cold Chain Show (ICCS). We did a trial of this arrangement last year with a small demarcation of IWLS from ICCS and the results were excellent as per our exhibitors. This gave us confidence to go ahead this year with full force to bring together this growing industry. Cold Storage, cold supply chain, pharmaceutical, food, dairy and retail are the new visitor segments that would be added to IWLS due to ICCS next door.
I look forward to your presence in Mumbai this October.
